A bit about Becca… Meet our founder and principal planner!
Becca Gutierrez Schafer has been an event professional for 24 years. She lives in Austin and has most recently served as Director of Events for Tribeza.
Becca Events was based in Horseshoe Bay for 12 years, where it was the premier luxury event planning and catering firm in the Hill Country, winning many awards and gaining notable attention. Becca and her team also produced and catered events in Austin often, and enjoyed traveling for and with their clients for destination events.
Now based in Austin, Becca Events focuses exclusively on producing extraordinary social, corporate, charitable, and destination events, as well as stunning weddings in Austin, the Hill Country, and beyond.
Becca has had the pleasure of entertaining celebrities, world changers, and global executives, as well as amazing families creating precious memories with each other. She looks forward to helping your next special event bloom to its fullest potential.
Becca was featured as a wedding professional of TLC’s Randy to the Rescue, and as a celebrity judge on Food Network. Her weddings and events have been featured in The Knot and other publications.
Philanthropy and volunteerism are passions of Becca’s, and she is proud to support The Phoenix Center in Horseshoe Bay and Candlelight Ranch in Marble Falls as an ambassador and public speaker. She has a long history with Rotary International, and is an active volunteer for the Vandegrift High School Marching Band and other non-profit organizations.
